WE WANT AND NEED YOU TO JOIN !

You won’t have to wear a coat like that, we are a warm weather group.

We need MEN and WOMEN of good character, have a love for horses and want to tell the story of the  Buffalo Soldiers.

Ladies there was one female Buffalo Soldier. Cathy Williams (Trooper William Cathy) she served for three years before she was turned-in by a Doctor when she got sick. We need a Cathy to tell the story. She served so long because she was a very good and brave soldier. The soldiers in her company did not turn her in because she was a very good soldier, coragous, brave and fierce a fighter that had their back.

You do not need to have a horse, but it does help to visualy  tell the story.

You must provide your own period uniform if you become a member of our association.

If this is you, fill out the 9th and 10th Cavalry Horse Soldiers Association application and mail it to the Florida address on the form along with  your payment.

When you receive your membership card, mail, email or call our Secretary. You will be  contacted by one of our members to let you know that  we have received your notification of membership and  will tell  you some more about our Northren California Affiliate.

We then vote on your request to join.

If you do not meet the requirements of our Constitution and By-law or fit our  criteria, we will contact you with a written explanation.

You will still be a member of the National Organization.

We meet  irregularly  and have no set schedule. Our members are  from Monterey Area in the South to  Yuba City Area in the North.

Don't let that discrouage you if you live outside of those areas, but can attend meeting and events in those areas.

                                              JOIN US.

We need more members to meet on a regular basis.

Be part of something Big in the Black Community. It is not all about riding horses, it is about letting todays Youth know about the History of The Buffalo Soldiers, especially here in Northern California.

We visit Schools, Librarys, Churches or any group that has an event where we can present the Buffalo Soldier story.
